Your first line is awesome! Sometimes in politics you get jobs because you "earned" it instead of being qualified. They say that about Bob Dole running against Clinton, the GOP nominated him for decades of service in the Senate rather than believing he actually had a chance of winning. I think the same thing with Kerry. They gave him the job for his decades of service in the Senate rather than thinking he had the talent to be a good Secretary of State. Another hiring mistake by BHO. Just like Hilary got the job only because she agreed to support Obama's campaign. (And Joe Biden didn't want to do all that traveling.)
