The family of one of the victims is pursuing a civil lawsuit against the companies that sold ammo by mail to the shooter. Shouldn't they be suing the shooter instead? They claim the companies were negligent in not asking the customer what he was going to use the ammunition for.

Should an interrogation also happen when people buy a knife at Wal-Mart? Or buying gasoline? "Are you going to stab someone with this knife? Are you going to make a Molotov cocktail out of this gasoline?"
