Obama Attacks ISIS For Domestic Political Reasons?

24 Sep 2014 13:53 #1 by FredHayek
Some on the right and some leftist pundits are curious about the timing for the attacks on Syrian rebel groups. They believe it is to make Barack Obama look more presidential and tougher on foreign affairs before the midterms. Right now the Dem party is looked at as much weaker on foreign relations compared to the Republicans, a 30% gap. Bombing other countries can be a high impact, high cost, and low risk way to bring up poll numbers.
Think it will work? Might even turn a couple senate races.

Ask the obvious question, if you vilified Bush for Iraq, why support Obama for ISIS/ISIL/whatever?

[sarcasm]But Heartless, you have failed to understand that the US is not at war with ISIS/ISIL/whatever because Barry says so (even tho Swift Boat Johny might have said otherwise...).

Thery're not combat troops, they're advisers...

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Just heard ISIS is within 1 mile of Baghdad, when asked Odumbo said "from the 12th green it looks fine to me."
