He was appointed because he's a "goood messenger". It's always about the message with this administration... just like with the ACA, the priority was getting the people to believe in what they were selling instead of focusing on delivering a product that worked. And unfortunately the message was tainted with lots of lies and BS in order to get us to buy the bad product.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
