Students at Lincoln and Washington HS walked out of classes today to protest Ferguson. The school district is sending busses to take them back to school.
Whiskey Tango Foxtrot! THEY walked out of class. Why should the school district burn gas (and spend taxpayer money) to take them back???

Not to mention the disruption the teacher's schedule which will probably require going over the curriculum a second time to accommodate these kids. Any excuse to get out of class these days... if I was one of the teachers, I would make sure the kids that skipped school regretted it. Pop Quiz bitches!!!
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
What they are going to have to do is figure out a way to keep the kids in school. Letting them walk out without repercussions has set a precedent, and the kids will likely take advantage of it.

Well if you can get away with looting and pillaging a town because of your "right to protest", skipping school should be no big deal.

Age and wisdom outwitting youth and enthusiasm? I suppose the other way to defuse the situation would have been to let the kids have their demonstration and then wait to see how it played out. What if that were allowed instead and suddenly riots and looting were to break out? The potential is there for a mostly white DPD to respond in riot gear, popping CS gas, and cracking skulls of minority young people... More fuel on a fire that race-baiters are fanning across the country.
As much as I don't like knowing that taxpayers footed the bills for a bunch of kids to march on the capital and demonstrate/protest, I honestly believe that the after math of the situation could have been much worse had it been allowed to escalate. As Citizens we have a right to peaceably assemble and I think that is what took place in this instance. While I vehemently disagree with their opinion and their actions, I will defend their right to express their opinions so long as they assemble in a peaceful manner and their actions remain lawful.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

A couple news stations are reporting that some East High students cheered and chanted "hit him again" after officer was hit by car yesterday. One even says there is video.
