Nick Groke of the Denver Post, in a April 5th article, states " The Rockies are the only team in baseball to play all their road games in another time zone. They're disadvantaged and can't seem to figure it out" Well, if Colorado remained on MST year-round then we would be equal to Arizona and similar to the Pacific Coast teams for the duration of the season. Ergo, the Rockies would be a contender!!
A Native American friend of mine once told me that only a white man would believe that you could cut the top off of a blanket and sew it to the bottom and end up with a longer blanket.
Personally I would rather the entire world switch over to ZULU time, it would make life so much simpler for everyone!
As for the Rockies, I am looking forward to opening day and spending some weekday afternoons at Coors Field! I hope the Rockies are able to improve on last season but I enjoy Coors Field so much that I'll go to the ball park as often as I can.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Daily Saving Time was never voted by the citizens of the state. It was imposed upon the citizens by a bunch of arrogant elitist back in the '60's. They gave no reason for it. Later they gave "retro-active" excuses such as energy savings but in truth it was to have more daylight to play golf after leaving the office.
