Hillary's strategy of not answering questions

I've been wondering how Hillary's refusal to answer questions is going to effect her approval numbers, especially as the unanswered questions continue to pile up. Some are saying it's a good strategy, but in the age of instant answers and instant 24/7 media, it seems a little counterintuitive to me. To me, it also seems a little elitist considering she's auditioning for the most powerful job on the planet. I just don't see a net positive in the long run... at some point, every question will need to be answered and she may not be able to pick the perfect time, place, and audience to answer them.

What do you think?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Well if I am reading the polls correctly, a lot of people really don't care that she isn't and will probably still vote for her. How does she get a pass?

Good point. It isn't like the people don't know what they are getting with her. They have seen her eight years as co-president, fending off the vast right-wing conspiracy that kept forcing Bill to have sex with those trailer trash.

That brings up another thought FH. Do you think Biden and Kerry are just biding their time, letting Hillary self implode and then run?

Well if we flipped the situation around and Democrats had many choices and Republicans only had an anointed candidate (lets say Condi Rice) and she didn't want to answer questions, there would still be a core group of Republicans who would vote for her over any Dem and wouldn't care if she didn't answer questions... but nobody can get elected by their blind followers alone.

Those polls won't mean much until the Republicans have a chosen candidate for her to match up with AND, Hillary is forced to answer questions. The more Hillary speaks, the more she seems to hurt herself (with the exception of her scripted campaign speeches).

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

[sarcasm_font]I think you guys are missing the key component of what you're calling a strategy. Under the Hildabeast all information issued to the public will be done in official speeches made by our Glorious Leader or her designated delegate. Our job as members of the collective is not to question; you will be told what you need to know when you need to know it. To question the Glorious Leader is to commit a crime against the Motherland, those who disobey will be "relocated..." [/sarcasm_font]

Too far from the truth? I think not, go back and have a look at all of the defensive maneuvers of the past:

Bimbo-gate? Whitewater? Travel-gate? Benghazi? First it didn't happen, then it happened after the press confronts her with the truth, then some alternate story is issued to deflect the proof, and ultimately we are rhetorically asked "...at this point, what difference does it make?!"

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
