3. American Exceptionalism Is Absolute Nonsense in 2015
4. Adequate Mass Transit Is a Huge Convenience
5. The Bible Was Not Written by Billionaire Hedge Fund Managers
6. Learning a Second or Third Language Is a Plus, Not a Character Flaw
7. Union Membership Benefits the Economy

Not surprising considering that we are, by and large, out of touch with how the world perceives us vs how we perceive ourselves. When the majority of our population never gets outside the border, it's easy to accept what you've been told by those crackpots on the radio.
And if you want to try to argue that they are far off the mark, just look at the data. Far too many of us have become fat, lazy, entitled, and apathetic. It reflects in our bodies and in our politics.
This article is such utter BS it is hard to believe anyone but the blind faithful far Left could think there is much truth here.
1. Universal Health Care is nothing more than redistribution of wealth and little more. My health insurance has risen drastically and my care is no different, but the hands out crowd may have benefitted.
4. Adequate Mass Transit is a complete joke here. If you want something to fail. put RTD in charge.
7. Union Membership primarily benefits union bosses and provides nice retreats.
9. Distrust of Oligarchy is a positive, yet the idiots here re-elected King Odumbo and will push for Hillary next. Clearly they have no understanding of what that statement means.
"Here are 9 things many Americans just don’t understand — compared to the rest of the world"
Who created this list?
Who are the "many Americans"?
How were these "many Americans" identified?
I believe that the word exceptional is extremely subjective, especially when describing a huge country and it's diverse population.
I believe that our Constitution is exceptional when compared to all others. I believe this country has done exceptional things and has created many exceptional people (like most countries), but I also believe that this country used to be the envy of the world and thanks to our modern day "leaders", that fact is slowly but surely becoming just a memory. Like Obama said in Cairo, no country should be elevated over another... and I know he believes that. I don't and never will.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
OP,
Do you really want 50% income tax and a regressive 22% value added tax?
I was just over in Europe for a month and it is amazing how much better off I am compared to people with my same job overseas, they have much less disposable income, much smaller homes and apartments, much more dependence on mass transit because they only can afford one car per household.
90% of Americans have higher standards of living than Britain does. If you don't mind smaller homes, don't mind having less disposable income, riding bikes because of gas taxes, you may want to move there. I love to visit Europe, but I could never live there, like my freedom too much.
But take heart Wicked, every day we become more like Europe, just today trans fat were banned by the FDA. #nannystate

I see Vlad Putin has threatened the US again. Thankfully we have the King in charge. Watch out Vlad he may ban trans fat worldwide or make you read STDS mindless drivel.

As I said, Heartless makes the OP's point.

Here is what I do get. We need a President that can lead our nation out of economic disaster, and we have the new health guru that bans trans fat. Woo hoo "Black LaLanne."
