The Associated Press contacted all 712 superdelegates in the past two weeks, and heard back from more than 80 percent. They were asked which candidate they plan to support at the convention next summer.
The results:
Clinton: 359.
Sanders: 8.
O'Malley: 2.
Uncommitted: 210.
There you have it. No reason to waste your time voting, I suppose.
I consider myself an Independent Constitutionalist, and have always found this "Super Delegate" system to be, at best, flawed - for the exact reason shown above. There is way too much nudge & wink in both major parties, too many favors, too many appointments, ambassadorships, etc.
I haven't yet found a GOP candidate I can support either. I believe Jim Webb is the only candidate qualified to lead this country, and I truly hope he gets back into the ring. I vividly remember how HRC bashed BHO in the 2008 campaigns, right up til the final countdown, then overnight she sold out her support to be Secretary of State. (I personally thought her price would be Supreme Court Justice.)

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Hillary did not lock down the super delegates eight years ago, she will not make that mistake again. Does make the primary and caucus system look like a rigged system.
