Brexeit: The UK Votes For Freedom!

Unless the UK decides to govern itself in a hard left fashion (like the EU), I think they will be far better off over time. If Hillary and Obama think this was a bad idea, it's a certainty that it was a good move for the UK.

It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy

The bad news is that only the initial skirmish has been won; the globalists/collectivists will kick the can down the road during the Article 50 negotiations so they can do multiple more referenda until they get the result they want. The good news is that it sounds like other countries want to bail as well and so the process may be accelerated.

I fear that Europe is lost to socialism and the Islamic invasion and there's nothing to stop it here. Yet.

I hope you are not equating Trump with competence. Unless, of course, you are championing his first class bigotry and misogyny.

I hope you are not equating Hillary with competence. Consider her total misjudgement of the Middle East (Arab Winter), the Brexit vote, her influence peddling while in office, her ruin of the women that Bill raped and molested, her email server exposure of U.S. top secret documents to the Russians and Chinese, her incompetence whenever the "3 A.M." phone call came from Benghazi and then lied to the family members about a video.

Yes Trump is blunt and speaks his mind, but Hillary is a sneaky, slimy, liar crook who should be in prison.

Not nearly as a much a slime ball as Trump, who drives companies into bankruptcy, encourages violence and bigotry, and is such a pathological liar that he can't even keep his stories or political positions straight from one day to the other. Morally, ethically and intellectually he is by far the worse choice.

Are you serious?
Hillary is criminal and traitorous - her private server which gave our national secrets to China and Russia.

Hillary is against women - her destruction of the reputation of the women Bill raped and molested.

Hillary is again against women - she takes millions of $ from countries that: deny women the right to drive cars; appear in public without a male relative escort; practice genital mutilation of women; etc, etc, And she will not give the money back!

Hillary is traitorous - while she was Sec of State she took $37 million to OK the purchase by Russia of the U.S. uranium resources. And she will not give the money back!

Hillary is a liar - she told the families of those slain at Benghazi that a video was the cause of the attack after she told her daughter that this was not the case.

Hillary is against the gay community - she takes very many millions of $ from countries that throw gays from the tops of buildings to their death. And she will not give the money back.

The Clinton Foundation only gives 20% to charities. She keeps the 80% as a finders fee.

And you gripe about the personality of Trump? Are you morally bankrupt?

Everything you listed would be repeated ad nauseam by most of the left wing media if Hillary was a Republican. But she's a Dem, so I don't think her supporters even think those charges are real since only the right is willing to remind us of them. I can't stand listening to Trump, but he hasn't corrupted any taxpayer funded office or lied repeatedly about serious matters while serving the people.

But back on topic, I'm thinking the UK is going to eventually reverse their chance for real freedom from the EU because I just don't think those people have the stomach for it, as a whole. I think there will be too much pressure from other EU countries who enjoy the central control and the perceived security. I give them a year max before they give in but I really hope I'm wrong.

The Brexit vote was a referendum, not a law or bill. Parliament can ignore it or hinder it or make the severance such that leaving the EU has so many consequences to render it as punishment. Or they can delay until the cows come home.

Well they will need another vote, they can't put it off forever because of the uncertainty that will surely damage the economy. It's Sh$t or get off the pot.

I love how all the elites think the Brexeit voters did not know what they are doing...but the voters did know what they are doing when it comes to electing representatives. Maybe the real idiots were the politicians who put it on the ballot.
