Omnibus Spending Bill 3/23/18

Has President Trump lost the support of his base by signing this bill? Perhaps, more importantly, will the base turn out in the 2018 election? Does Mike Coffman think that his vote against the bill after voting for the procedural action necessary to get it to the floor of the House of Representatives will pass muster with the base? I think that shift to the democrats in Colorado is a good possibility.
I live in Park County, that portion in which Jared Polis is the rep. Don't like the county being split but no one asked me. When Cary Kennedy wins the democrat nomination for governor, Polis will go back to his H of R seat, similar to "Little" Mario Rubio in Florida.
The feeling of a ruling political class is very strong. They are not "D"s or "R's rather "G"s for globalists, don't recall where I read that.
D.C. nationally, Denver, both statewide and locally (see all the Hancock material online)
are good old boy networks, which allow us to pick at the crumbs left.
What then do we teach our children, in my case, grandchildren? Go along to get some of the crumbs? Join the system and get some of the cake? This is the paramount issue in my opinion.
With all respect SC, the Russian collusion issue is sackcloth. Both the Republicans and the Democrats in D.C. do not want him in office. He threatens their sinecures. If my co-workers leaders were McConnell and Ryan, I would always keep my back to the wall.
So Colorado, enjoy the Coffmans, Gardners, Polis's Hickenloopers, Hancocks, ad nauseum. will watch from afar.

I agree and am glad it is not an issue I need an answer for. Short term I suspect that those who join the system will do better but like musical chairs what happens to them when the music stops.

BTW, what and where are you hearing about Hancock? The only place I hear of him is on AM 710 and they seem like Don Quixote tilting at windmills.

With regard to Denver Mayor Hancock:
Channel 7 had the first interview with a female detective, Branch-Wise, who states that the mayor sexually harassed her. This interview was approximately 1 month ago.
KNUS 710 AM and Westword are re-opening the involvement of then councilman, mayor-elect, Hancock of using an escort service, Players and Sugar.
In the first case, $75,000. was paid to the detective, she calls it hush money. Cary Kennedy, democrat candidate for governor, was the deputy mayor and chief financial officer at the time. She states that she has no knowledge of why or who made the payment of government funds. There is much more depth online.
As to the second issue, at the time of the Denver Police Investigation of prostitution, evidence has disappeared, records of the police raid on parties running the escort service. Again much more depth on line.
Sorry, that this thread is getting away from the signing of the "Omnibus Budget Bill", however, I did wanted to provide more depth with regard to my reference to Hancock.
