I don't give a crap

I could not find the thread I was going to append this too so I just figured, what the crap.

..."So, did Donald Trump collude and conspire with Russians to win an election? What the media and his opponents (and even a lot of Republicans) STILL don’t or can’t or won’t understand is that it doesn’t matter. He didn’t have to collude with anybody. He was going to win either way. He had millions of Americans at “build a wall” and “cut your taxes” and especially at, “I don’t give a crap what people think.”

Donald Trump may get impeached or arrested or disgraced or unseated or whatever. But what people had better realize is that if he’s gone, a large percentage of the population will be looking for something or someone JUST like him …to replace him. There’s too much at stake; too many socialists on the horizon, too many empty suits looking for lifetime political gigs, too many “nice guys” with great smiles and weak spines, to take anymore chances.

We just want an asshole who can play. And with the economy roaring and North Korea neutralized and ISIS basically contained and defeated, it appears that despite all the weirdness that surrounds him, he can, indeed, play."

Good points. The Donald won the Rust Belt and broke the Blue Wall. I don't think any Republican presidential candidate could have done that. The people there were tired of losing their jobs because of unfair trade deals with nations like China and illegal aliens taking the good jobs in construction and other places. Even right now with record low unemployment, the numbers are staggering showing how many Americans have logged out of the job market. Living on welfare, food stamps, and disability payments.

Moronic points. Your orange shitgibbon lost the popular vote by a record margin. In fact, the repug candidate has lost the popular vote in six out of the past seven presidential elections.

LOL. Taco Bell won best Mexican restaurant nationwide. Thank God the country doesn't elect presidents by the popular vote!

Seriously? It took you one post to go from bragging about trump's popularity to arguing that winning the popular vote was not only irrelevant but maybe even undesirable.

Brandon,
Please go to your public library and read the United States Constitution. Your comments make it obvious that you have not read the Constitution. It will answer your question.

With regard to the Taco Bell reference, I would send you to National Public Radio 9/13/2018, Morning Edition.

Nyet, comrade. The Constitution of the United States of America was written over two hundred years ago! How could it include the last seven presidential elections?

Brandon,
Yes, the Constitution was written over two hundred years ago. It is the document on which our government is built. Its provisions provide the framework for all of our laws. The Supreme Court decides if a law is constitutional or not, from its inception to the present.
The mechanism for the election of the President is detailed. Originally enumerated in Article Two, the process was modified by Amendment 12.
If you feel that the United States should no longer be a constitutional republic petition Congress to amend the constitution. Your comment about the winner of a plurality of the votes has no standing in the Constitution.
