The Russia Investigation, Fact by Fact Only

I know we have a thread about the Russia investigation but I thought it would be fun and interesting to play a game I just thought of. Since we have a scientist here I figured we could look at political topics the same way scientists come up with their conclusions and theories using factual data and not opinion and speculation. This is going to be pretty easy and non-confrontational... this would be more like what happens in a courtroom and less like what happens on a political talk show.

Here's how it works:

I'll start with a fact that has been proven beyond a reasonable doubt during the Russia investigation... not an opinion or tweet from some journalist, politician, or anyone else, just a fact. I can only post one fact at a time. It can be a quote, an action taken by someone, a criminal charge, or anything you feel is relevant to this massive and ongoing case. The fact can be recent or in the more distant past. The next person can post another fact that is related to the last fact (to expand upon or diminish) or just post a completely different fact. So that we have an easy record of the fact list, each poster should copy and paste the previous facts in order. As time goes on the list of facts will grow and can later be sorted in chronological order so that a picture void of opinion can eventually be completed.

I think this may be a better way to approach a lot of other topics as well and could definitely be more fun. Remember, you can only post one fact until someone else posts one after yours and this thread is only about the Russia investigation and any facts found concerning the original intent as well as facts found that don't pertain to the original intent but are relevant in your mind. Here we go: (edit to add, facts can be disputed with source links if you know a "fact" is actually "fake news")

1. George Papadopoulos was sentenced to 14 days in jail and fined $9500 for lying to the FBI.

This was an experiment to see if anyone wanted to talk about the facts found so far about Russian collusion and the motives of those investigating it. If you compile the FACTS known so far, it's no wonder nobody wants to participate in this thread. Shocker! LOL

Rick....the facts continue to fall in place.....the Mueller investigation is NOT completed and until the report is released in it's full form, how can anyone ascertain a COMPLETE understanding of the
truth? Image a puzzle.....the outer edges are taking shape and the INNER pieces can now
be placed into their proper position. Patience is hard I know.....

Patience is HARD I know........wait for it to unfold.....if the BUSINESS INSIDER is not
concrete and credible,then unsure what you might need as PROOF..

While I appreciate your responding, I don't think you understand what I'm asking here. I'm not asking for any conclusions, I'm merely asking for proven facts so far. It's very simple, I post a fact, you post a fact or disprove a fact I presented. This investigation has produced many facts but has even more opinions not backed up by facts. This isn't a debate or a trail or anything like that, it's just a listing of factual evidence involving this investigation. If you don't want to play, I understand and won't hold it against you. If nobody wants to play I guess I'll change the rules and just post a new fact every day.
