McConnell has a history of blatantly disregarding his sworn duties as an elected representative of The People in Congress. Isn't it their job to pass a budget and send it to the President to sign into law or veto? And if vetoed, they can go back for another vote to override?
The House has passed a budget. The Senate has passed a budget on voice vote. This is an egregious dereliction of duty.
Kinda makes you wonder why...
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Good point. Just like back when they Republicans kept repealing Obamacare when they knew it was an empty gesture because President Obama would veto the measure. If you check your history, Senator Harry Reid often refused to permit votes on anti-2nd amendment bills because he thought it might hurt Democrats in the next election. (Plus the NRA gave him campaign funds and endorsed him for many years in Nevada)
