CHANGE that never comes

ABHOR anniversary dates of awful, obscene events. I was in Anchorage, Alaska in a hotel room.....twenty years ago....we had just moved on a relocation for At&t..... I was waiting for the realtor to call with listings/tours and there was a BREAKING NEWS flash on the tv screen.
I watched,in a daze, as it unfolded live in real time. I sat there, alone in the hotel room, thinking….we use to live in that area, before we moved to Bailey.....it's a HARSH reality...….NOTHING has changed all these years later.....
