Would you trust Microsoft or another tech company to take your vote and process it? Has IT found a good way to assert your identity, get your vote, and not mess up? Two of the things that would concern me is the privacy of your vote being lost to hackers, and hackers voting for people who choose to sit out an election.
Example, Denver just had an election, less that 150,000 voters voted out of one million residents. Could they protect against some hacker noticing your automatic registration but with no votes on file? Or the votes of someone who normally only votes in presidential elections?
