CHECKMATE.....chess is a strategic series of moves......the reality star is NOT accustom to being OUTmatched....sucking up is his ONLY
defense in this dilemma.
Trump will lose to Kim? Just par for the course, no US president has won long term in dealings with the North Korean dictator, or his father. The most we get is pledges to not build nukes or long range missiles but then they go ahead and build them. Ending the Korean War might be a feather in both their caps. And the current regime in South Korea has been bending over backwards to get this accomplished.
Would love to see North Koreans allowed to emigrate legally to South Korea and the US could even take some or pay part of the rehoming costs to get them settled in the ROK.

bolded....the BIG difference is this.......the king thinks his personal prowess and personality
will create a BOND OR BROMANCE......because HE (and only he) KNOWS Kim and he
''loves KIM" and they will work together because HE (after all) is the king and will get what he
wants......(oblivious to the fact that being played is what is occurring.) EGO will not allow the
reality to exist.
You don't think Kerry and Obama or Bush and Rice, or Clinton and Albright all believed they couldn't outplay this tiny tinpot dictator of a hermit kingdom?
They played them all. China loves watching DC get frustrated and props up the Kim family and their military to distract the US and Japan.
It is very hard to prevent a nation getting nukes and long range rockets when they have a powerful ally like China. Or Iran and their buddy, Putin.
The only two nations I know that gave up their nuke program voluntarily were South Africa. When DeClerk knew he was going to lose the country to the majority, he dismantled the program. And Libya's Qadaffi shut down his program when Ronald Reagan started targeting his palaces and family.
I don't think Trump or the next American President is willing to target Iran's religious autocrats and their families. Especially when Russia and Syria can wreck a lot of havoc in retribution.
