LOL

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I honestly feel sad that your comment was flippant and a failure. IF the collective can't admit the
atrocious actions aren't acceptable.....then humankind is an experiment gone wrong.

Well he could always call half the country deplorable... I suppose that is acceptable and presidential. I know Trump hurts a lot of feelings and infuriates the left and weak Republicans with his words, but he did this from the very beginning. This is one of the main reasons the left has been trying to impeach him from day one. I didn't like it at first, but now I see that it has been a brilliant tactic, especially at a time when PC language is beginning to peak and weak fragile minds are being tested. It used to be that survival of the fittest was a test of living beings ability to physically stay alive. Today we are seeing TDS actually starting to take people out mentally and I'm predicting there will actually be an increase in suicides by fragile leftists when Trump wins again. I blame the worthless media for ignoring anything positive and only focusing on anything negative that they try to pin on Trump,

No, calling those who support your opposition names like deplorable is not acceptable, nor presidential, and it was wrong of Clinton to do it. It was also totally insensitive and wrong of Trump to attack former Rep Dingell and current Rep Dingell as he did, and several prominent Republicans rightly called him out on it.

In my view, so is calling people a collective, leftists, or anything else that lumps people into a group because then you aren't listening to them to understand, you are using their positions to judge and demean. I'd appreciate it if it would stop here in this Forum because it turns people off from participating and voicing their opinions for fear of being judged and harassed for their beliefs. Wouldn't you like to have conversations with more people? I know I sure would.

Argue the facts, not each other's personal experiences and beliefs. That path leads to trolling and the nation as a whole is sick and tired of it.

What is objectionable, what is dangerous about extremists, is not that they are extreme, but that they are intolerant. The evil is not what they say about their cause, but what they say about their opponents.
~Robert Kennedy

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

It is really stupid to insult a dead man. Even if the dead man insulted first. He did it with McCain as well...

I would love it if we could talk about facts, especially if we could give our own interpretations of said facts instead of always relying on the interpretations of partisans.
That said I will be the first to admit that I have let my frustrations with bad journalism and rushes to judgements over the last few years affect my tone In a negative way. I’ve used the word “leftist” to describe people on the left of the ideological spectrum but I’m not sure what a more accurate and less offensive word would be. You can feel free to call me a righty, a conservative, a Republican, or whatever you think fits. Words don’t offend me or cause me anguish but I understand that these days are different and we need to tiptoe around certain words that may trigger certain people.

So I’ll do my best to be nice if we can actually talk facts... I just hope there are still enough people on both sides who are interested in facts.

If you look up the definition of collective, I view it as an appropriate term...Trumpers, Trumpettes.
utlra right, righties etc ARE derogatory. Much like Rick...."words can;t bring me down" per
Chrisitne Aquiliara . IF poster are afraid to post, I personally find that odd... life is NOT PC, nor is it fair. I will always call a spade a spade..I will take it to the ground IF I see a wrong, taking a stand
requires STRENGTH and courage to take the rocky road.

I spent too many year being a "pleaser" .....then I entered corp america and found you get
trampled to death if you don't STAND UP.....I have fought for every morsel of upward movement
and learned NO one will give you what you ask for, you have to stand up and be your own person.

It is a sad thing when posters will not comment on a movie review or book.....not even a compliment to the community......afraid? I do not see that, I see lurkers and participants. It seems to be the nature of cyber boards. JMO

Let me attack John Dingell in a valid way. He was an assault on democracy in his district. He was "given" the seat by his father like a feudal baron, and the after he died, his wife has taken the seat. Our forefathers never intended for House seats to be passed down in families. Or for a man like Dingell to serve decade after decade. Incumbents have tremendous advantages in our current system. An honorable man would step aside after a decade of public service. Not milk it for generations.
