A very long, but dead on description of the dilemma we find ourselves dealing with. An innovation that was to be the defining touchstone
for humanity....but became the "death" of understanding and empathy. THIS is the problem for ALL cyber boards( social media ) We have DEvolved, all the while, fervently fumbling for a foundation that would ground us.....allowing some respite.

It is the reason I am not on instantgram, twitter, facebook,or ANY other cyber source.

You honestly think that? Personally I think tech is neutral. With Facebook, I am much better able to keep up with friends and family around the world. Tech? I know a deaf man who finds it so much easier to communicate with both the hearing and the deaf world. Only twenty years ago he had to pay a lot of money for a special phone or fax to communicate with others far away.
Sure there are people who use tech for bad, like SPAM calls, or phishing expeditions and DOS attacks. But overall I think it has made life better for humanity.

Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
