The US military responds with an attack that takes out the #2 guy in Iran, the leader of their terrorist branches and military groups. This man orchestrated attacks all over the world, even planned a bomb attack on DC to take out civilians and Saudi's there. A number of other Iranian leaders were captured and others killed on the same day. Will this response put Iran back on their heels? Or will it just inspire them to make more attacks on innocents?
I hope this loss of command will limit any response as the Iranians have to not only develop new commanders, but also give inspiration to dissidents fighting the theocrats in Iran right now. Hundreds of protestors have died last month demanding change as the Iranian economy continues to slump.
