Yes. Iran might try some attacks against Israel and the US using proxies but I expect them to stay pretty quiet until a Democrat is elected President. Their economy is in tatters. They used to have European support, but that withered away after they were caught cheating on nukes, missiles, and shooting down a plane full of westerners.
They can stand down for nine months hoping some peacenik like Senator Sanders comes in. One who won't target their military commanders and terrorist leaders. A new Commander in Chief that will slash the military budget instead of increase it to record levels.
Have your foreign policy experts speculated on what a Sanders administration will mean? How about Elizabeth Warren? Joe Biden?
Traditionally our foes like to test new administrations, see how much they can get away with. Expect Russia, China, and Iran to all poke us and see how we react. Yell ouch and protest at the United Nations? Or smack back.
