Delivery and takeout will still be allowed. How soon before the state follows suit?

Ski areas are closed for a week by Governor Polis, but some have already decided to close for the season.

Bright side? Amazon is planning to hire 100,000 more workers, per the Wall Street Journal, as more consumers choose to quarantine and not shop in brick and mortar retail stores.

The stock market takes a record loss today as more Americans get gloomy about the future hits to the economy.

Liquor stores and marijuana dispensaries will remain open. How long will it be before "speakeasys" and floating RAVE parties show up? To think that people who are out of school, or out of work are going to hunker down and stay home is wishful thinking. Social media will make it very easy for meeting places to become known,.

I have a lot of friends in the restaurant business and i feel really bad for them. This is going to crush a lot of people and families that may find it hard to find jobs after this as many businesses may have to shut down permanently. Hopefully restaurants can adapt to more deliveries and keep people employed.

This is going to hurt so many people, and now Governor Polis has extended the Denver ban statewide for a month. I was talking to one waitress who was just laid off as a flight attendant and now this. Luckily my favorite diner is still doing takeout.

We are making it a point to order take out from our favorite restaurants here in Lakewood at least 3 nights a week. BTW, the best Chinese food in the metro area is Szechuan at 6th and Garrison... very nice owners too.

Pretty good place, especially their sesame chicken.
