Senator Sanders Drops Out Of Presidential Race

He did much worse in Wisconsin than in 2016 where he beat Hillary Clinton by 13%. After a string of losses and no real way to get his youthful volunteers to canvass upcoming primary state, the elderly Vermont politician has dropped out.
The funny thing? Biden has limited his campaigning since CV hit. Maybe the less America sees of Senator Biden, the better he does?

America has just experienced four weeks of socialism, empty shelves, limited jobs, small businesses declared illegal. Maybe it made them not want to vote for it after all?
The stock market did jump 600 points after the announcement.

Funny thing, Fred, the current economic system is capitalism. The empty shelves, limited jobs, restricted movement, it all happened under capitalism. Weird, huh?

BTW - no small businesses were declared illegal.

What do you call it when a business is closed by order of the government?

In the current situation, capitalism.

Right, because the definition of a capitalist system is one where the government supplies the people, decides which businesses can and can’t stay open. Good grief. I don’t have time to teach you basic economics

And I have no patience for those who try to invoke fear into the population by invoking the bogeyman "SOCIALISM" and pointing to empty shelves, knowing full well that happened under our current government and economic system, not under socialism.

Thankfully, it did not happen under SOCIALISM. Had that been the case the shortages would be the norm not a rumor driven spike.

What? The government effectively declared you are not allowed to patronize non-essential businesses. This is not capitalism. The unemployment is caused by the government telling businesses their employees are not allowed to work at non-essential businesses. Once again that isn't capitalism. Empty shelves? If the government hadn't told Americans that they would have to remain in place for weeks, the run on grocery stores wouldn't have happened.
That is not capitalism.
Everything you pointed out is the direct result of government action, not capitalism. You might want to review what capitalism is again. It isn't about shutting down businesses.

The word Socialism doesn’t just mean stuff you don’t like.
Policeman, Fireman, Teacher , and Pro Sports Unions are Socialist entities operating within our Democracy.
Socialism is simply a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole. It doesn't have to be totalitarian, as your post suggests.
That being said, the shortages were all caused by Americans themselves. There weren’t any more machines to turn on at the TP factory. And it happened under capitalism and democracy, not socialism.
