BHO sent out a video today endorsing his old running mate, but only after everyone else had dropped out of the race. Why did he wait so long? Do you think he doesn't have much faith in the 78 year old former vice president?
I believe if he really though Biden was the man to lead this nation, he would have endorsed him much sooner, especially after Senator Sanders dominated the first three contests.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I strongly disagree. He had to stay out of the fray until it was down to the final candidate for two reasons:
1. to prevent any accusations by Bernie Bros of "manipulating" the DNC in Joe's favor
2. to be able to impartially support whomever the final candidate ended up being if it weren't one he endorsed earlier because it's not about who the Democratic nominee is, what matters is that this election is a referendum on Trump. Because of his position as former POTUS, Obama has to be here to support any and all Democratic candidates, not one he personally approves of over another.
Here's the video of his endorsement.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

So, that is now the GOP tactic. Try to cast Biden as an old senile man, while the dotard currently in the White House makes constant mistakes and lies on a daily basis. I suppose if you tell a lie frequently enough, it becomes truth? Have you ever heard of the parable about the mote and beam?

Agree, Trump is a blowhard who is always trying to sell himself, but if you honestly believe Biden is fit for the presidency, you are a hopeless partisan. If Joe wins, he will just be propped up in the oval office while his Chief of Staff and cabinet will actually be running things. And his VP pick might be the most important ever.

I hadn’t watched a Trump lately in any of his pressers because I’m actually working a lot of extra hours. I watched last night and was a bit taken aback. He’s definitely lost a step and is slipping. Unfortunately for the dems, Biden lost more than a step. It’s a train wreck in slow motion heading towards November. The debates will be cast as the grumpy old men debates.
