One of the great things about America is that so many of us aren't hardcore Democrats or hardcore Republicans. Despite the charges that America is a deeply racist nation, an African American man won the presidency twice because people did change sides. Much still depends on who the candidate is. This year I don't really care for either choice and might pick the Libertarian. Need to do a little more research on her.
BTW, ballots are in the mail or have already arrived for the primary. Please vote for who you want. (Andrew Romanoff in this case since Hickenlooper was just fined for accepting illegal donations.) Plus John didn't want to be senator.

LIKE Colin Powell????
I’m not really sure he qualifies as a conservative, but I’m sure he faced his share of racism just for being formerly associated with the republicans. I wouldn’t even consider Bush a conservative.

Party platforms change with the times. And there are differences between fiscal conservatives and social conservatives. And same for the other party. It used to be OK for Democrats to not be pro-choice, but they will drive those people off now as ignorant Christians.

Heartless, what PS posted is just fine - it's verifiable data that those search results do increase in election years. The question is who is doing it and why, and that would be the more interesting conversation to have rather than simply insulting an entire ideology and insinuating that that kind of conversation isn't wanted or fostered here.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
