Juneteenth becoming even more?

Expect something kind of big from the President on Monday.

Replace Columbus Day with Juneteenth? Should a new national holiday of Juneteenth stay on 6/19 every year or the 3rd weekend in June to have a Monday off?

Being retired now, everyday is a day off, though most are working on projects, so I'm not a good voice either way.

One proposal was for schools to teach students Black history from June 1st to June 19th. Isn't their already a Black history month?
And I was surprised to see some LGBTQ people upset with the Juneteenth holiday. They think it steals the month away from Pride events. Since they already have MLK day, maybe the LGBTQ people should get a national holiday in June instead?
