A venue that could contain 19,000....approx. 6,200 was the finally number...seriously,I am encouraged that the populace UNDERSTOOD the
stupidity of the king's statement...forget about the virus,we have to move on...SECOND rally is s.o.l. because the king cant stand the stark
reality...EMPTY SPACE.
DeSantis is NOW getting a clue...NO, the numbers are increasing because of testing....the virus has gone viral...FLORIDA is now the epicenter.
WELCOME to the wonderful world of denial.
I think you have the wrong takeaway from Tulsa. Millions of left wingers ordered tickets, taking access away from the people who really wanted to see Trump.
But I do think the Trump administration did play it wrong. Don't tell people that one million people have reservations. It discourages people from going. Who wants to fight a crowd like that? And now that people have seen this tactic work, expect other events to get bought out by left wing voters.
Maybe charge $20 a seat next time? That way the people who don't really want to go will have to donate to the campaign at least.

The Trump campaign announced that over 800,000 tickets had been reserved for the Tulsa rally. Trump himself bragged that over one million people had asked for tickets. Of that yuuuge number, only 6,200 showed up? Not even enough to fill the venue? That's less than 1% of the million reservations.
It's obvious that the campaign overbooked and were anticipating more than 60,000 people in the building and the overflow, so what happened? Surely out of a million reservations, there should have been 20,000 legitimate reservations.
Or maybe people have realized Trump thinks the only life that matters is his own life?
Wow. 7 million out of 330 million people? That's absolutely fantastic! He's so popular!
(that was sarcasm, Fred)
If, in fact, the younger generation did prank a million false reservations, that means the 20 and 30 something kids are waking up to the farce of the old school politics. Trump, and all the old conservatives, should be worried that they have woken a sleeping giant in our youth.

Actually seven million live viewers is very respectable. Considering that it is a Summer Saturday night after bars and restaurants are finally able to reopen. I know I had better things to do than watch political speeches last weekend. Just hanging out on the back deck watching the hummingbirds is better than droning politicians.
