MENTIONING THE UNMENTIONABLE

Herman Cain, a black man ( also a conservative Republican, candidate for the Presidency in 2016 and self-made millionaire) passed away due to Covid-19 according to news reports.
Much has been made of the higher rate of death for blacks with Covid-19.
Perhaps there is a genetic variant that predisposes blacks to this particular virus. Much as been made of the sociologic underpinnings of why blacks have a higher rate. However, Mr. Cain doesn't fall into any of the categories of poverty, discriminated-housing, etc that are espoused by the sociologists. I am sure that the claim that he is an outlier will quickly be raised.
However, the diseases, sickle cell anemia and sickle cell trait only occur in blacks. Fortuitously, it protects them from malaria, a viral disease.
Again, perhaps, a genetic disposition creates vulnerability to Corona viruses just as the genetic disposition created an immunity to malaria.
You won't see this in the MSM.

Perhaps blacks have a genetic predisposition to the Corona viruses. This would be similar to the protection that sickle cell anemia and sickle trait afford against malaria, but a susceptibillty rather than a protection.
