October? I think that would be highly optimistic. And then how long would it take to make hundreds of millions of doses?

I remember a few years ago when they had a flu vaccine shortage, I think the first batch was contaminated so they had to make up quickly tens of millions more units. It took months to make up for the shortfall and many Americans never did get their shots that year.
