Deep thoughts by Donald Trump

Wrong war, wrong reason; but, not surprising considering this is the man who said people thanked him because before him, water didn’t come out of their faucets and toilets would flush and flush and flush and not get rid of the waste.

Trump rewrites history with claim 1917 Spanish flu (it was 1918) probably ended WWII (it didn't)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

It could just be an honest flub. When your every word is broadcast, you are going to make mistakes. I know I am glad that I am not on camera every day.

Or he could be correct...other than being off by a couple of months...

Academic Andrew Price-Smith has made the argument that the virus helped tip the balance of power in the latter days of the war towards the Allied cause. He provides data that the viral waves hit the Central Powers before the Allied powers and that both morbidity and mortality in Germany and Austria were considerably higher than in Britain and France.[59]

Kenneth Kahn at Oxford University Computing Services writes that, "Many researchers have suggested that the conditions of the war significantly aided the spread of the disease. And others have argued that the course of the war (and subsequent peace treaty) was influenced by the pandemic." Kahn has developed a model that can can be used on home computers to test these theories.

PS, he isn’t off by a couple of months, he’s off by a few decades. He said the 1917 pandemic ended WWII, not WWI. Listen to the clip.

My point is, he’s just as bad, or worse than, Biden for all those who keep pointing out Biden’s mistakes.

"If you have a windmill anywhere near your house, congratulations, your house just went down 75 percent in value,” Trump told Republicans in April 2019. “And they say the noise causes cancer. You tell me that one.” He then made a whirring noise mimicking a turbine.
