The FBI isn't mincing words, they Tweeted this 4 hours ago:

The Chinese government believes it must cheat and steal to surpass the U.S. in economic and technological leadership. Its work targeting U.S. businesses, lawmakers, students, researchers, and the public requires a whole-of-society response. Learn more at ow.ly/JldD50B8BGd .

“The greatest long-term threat to our nation’s information and intellectual property, and to our economic vitality, is the counterintelligence and economic espionage threat from China.” -FBI Director Christopher Wray

I've been waiting to see if anyone was going to bring this issue up in discussion. China has been incredibly visibly aggressive this past year, yet I don't see this being covered extensively and I believe they are a bigger threat than is given due. I'll share some more later that I've been saving. What say you?

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

The Chinese threat has been a constant drumbeat by the Trump administration. He talked about the Chinese threat long before jumping into politics. I believe that is the reason you don’t see it covered extensively-nothing positive can be said in most of the media about Trump. If you watched Fox News you would see quite a bit of coverage.

I agree with you both. China has literally been bribing professors and anyone else to get their hands on our technology and have been adding spyware everywhere in the West. The US and the UK are doing something about it, but I worry the Eurozone isn't concerned. Hopefully Japan and South Korea are aware of the threat.

The Chinese government is employing tactics that seek to influence lawmakers and public opinion to achieve policies that are more favorable to China.

At the same time, the Chinese government is seeking to become the world’s greatest superpower through predatory lending and business practices, systematic theft of intellectual property, and brazen cyber intrusions.

From the link.....let's remember WE have been screwing with other countries for decades...(Confessions

LOL, who cares if we are innocent or not? Every country is guilty of horrible misdeeds against their own citizens and other nations. Even someone like Canada. They have a horrible past record with the Frist Nations.
Might makes right? The West needs to gang up against China. And I am sure many Asian nations will join us, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, and India. Beijing is dependent on consumers buying their crap. The Western World needs to become more self sufficient and also help the developing world steal more business from China. Africa is another continent making big leaps. China has tried to take advantage of them, maybe it is time for them to get revenge.

Up until Trump came into office "we" have been very naive when in comes to China. We welcomed them into the WTO at the same time not caring about their human rights violations and their blatant theft. China would be nothing but a weak communist hell hole if not for our stupid policies that killed our manufacturing jobs. If this virus wasn't a strategy to hurt the US then China found another way to take us down by accident. All they have to do is create new viruses and watch us kill our own economy, again. The only good thing to come out of this is that many are finally waking up and realizing how many things we depend on from China, like very important drugs.

Going forward I really hope the Democrats in congress wake up as well and start to see that China is much more of a threat than Russia will ever be. Unfortunately their candidate Joe doesn't see China as a threat... maybe he and his son have some other deals in the works. I've also quit watching the NBA completely because of their blind ass kissing of China for financial reasons we should all understand.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
