You forget to mention that if these deaths were counted like any other virus or flu, the actual number would be around 15,000. It’s obvious to those of us who can think critically what is happening here and why.

You are absolutely right that COVID deaths are counted differently than influenza deaths. COVID deaths are actual counted deaths whereas flu deaths are based on estimates, making COVID deaths more accurate and reliable.
The root of such incorrect comparisons may be a knowledge gap regarding how seasonal influenza and COVID-19 data are publicly reported. The CDC, like many similar disease control agencies around the world, presents seasonal influenza morbidity and mortality not as raw counts but as calculated estimates based on submitted International Classification of Diseases codes.2 Between 2013-2014 and 2018-2019, the reported yearly estimated influenza deaths ranged from 23 000 to 61 000.3 Over that same time period, however, the number of counted influenza deaths was between 3448 and 15 620 yearly.4 On average, the CDC estimates of deaths attributed to influenza were nearly 6 times greater than its reported counted numbers. Conversely, COVID-19 fatalities are at present being counted and reported directly, not estimated. As a result, the more valid comparison would be to compare weekly counts of COVID-19 deaths to weekly counts of seasonal influenza deaths.
From our analysis, we infer that either the CDC’s annual estimates substantially overstate the actual number of deaths caused by influenza or that the current number of COVID-19 counted deaths substantially understates the actual number of deaths caused by SARS-CoV-2, or both.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
When a person with heart disease dies and has the flu, that is counted as a heart disease death. That same person dies with Covid and it’s a Covid death. Yes, I’m right. Thank you for recognizing the massive flaw in this story designed to ruin Trump’s booming economy so some senile democrat can sit in office...
And maybe our fatality rate is just due to us just being Americans? We were forged in revolution and aren't known for knuckling under. Look at Canada, they willingly locked down and 80% of the population agrees with the the government plan. They agreed to sacrifice their economy in an attempt to save everyone. Their border with the US was supposed to open in October but now it looks like they will extend it even longer.
Face it, you can't control people. Look at CU right now, students are disobeying the rules on fraternization. They are risking being expelled to have beers with bros.
So I am very distrustful when the Left says if Biden wins, Covid deaths will decline. It has been six months since we locked down for two weeks, and I can't see many Americans willing to go through six more months of lockdowns, no matter who is President.

.@JoeBiden during speech honoring RBG: "And PERHAPS——most cruelly of all———if Donald Trump has his way, the complications from COVID-19, which are well beyond——what they should be. It's estimated that 200 million people have died—probably by the time I—finish this talk."
