You brought back memories. I was in school in Baltimore in the 60's and Pelosi's brother Tommy
D'Alesandro, III was mayor for part of that time. The city was indeed corrupt. "The Block" a section of East Baltimore St was replete with strip bars controlled by the criminal element (the mob). The only I.D. necessary to get in was a $5 bill.
The riots of 1968 helped to push Tommy out as mayor. However Wikipedia states the following"In 1971, D'Alesandro stepped down as mayor and retired from politics and went into private law practice.[4][3] Years later, D'Alesandro insisted that the riots were not the reason that he walked away from politics.[7] He said that the reason was simply that he had five children and his mayoral salary was not sufficient for him to support his family."
Take that with a grain of salt.
Threatening violence against a salon owner because they made Pelosi look bad sounds like something a Brownshirt would do. Or a mobster. ANTIFA isn't as anti-fascist as they think.
