I can’t read that since it is behind a paywall, but will say that since it is from the NYT, it isn’t worth reading. They have to be the most discredited newspaper of record ever. Just look at the recent “anonymous” revelations.
The Wall Street Journal also mentioned it today. Maybe it is time for hospitals to do what pharmaceutical companies do, take most of their computers off the world wide web and put them on an internal system.
Ransomware will continue to be a problem until they do this.
