Biden wins despite the popular vote only being a difference of 5%. Doesn't it look much more impressive due to the Electoral College? Maybe our Founding Fathers were onto something here?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Yes I’m sure our founding fathers would be proud... Dominion Voting Systems is a foreign owned company and counted the vote in 28 states. It has been shown to have flipped votes and every state that used it should currently be involved in a manual recount. That is, if we weren’t a nation of sheep.
I'm actually happy with the election results. All of them. Wanna know why?
Because more people than ever turned out to vote and are paying attention to what's happening in politics.
Because it was close it's not a mandate on any one party's goals (Pelosi's remarks to that effect were wrong and tone-deaf. It's time for her to step aside as SoH.)
Because more women, people of color, transgender, and minority groups are stepping up and running - the better the representation by all citizens in our nation, the better all viewpoints and concerns are considered.
Because The People once again created their own checks-and-balances by leaving the Senate in Republican's hands, and voting the opposite party into the WH while leaving the Democrats in power in the House but with less strength. The pendulum swung, but not as hard left as it could have (or was predicted by many).
I'm sick of extremism and want balanced, effective government with both parties working together on solutions to our problems. It was disheartening to see The Squad and some QAnon-spouting reps voted in, but they remain in the minority and my hope is that party members (like Spanberger - love her) keep speaking out
and putting the extremists in the party in their place. Re-districting following this census might help too. It's still a battle to get our elected representatives to get over themselves and start working together, and corruption on both sides remains a huge problem, but that's the message that comes through loud and clear to me from the results of this election.

The facts:
"Maricopa County AZ uses Dominion machines to count ballots. It completed its legally required hand count test on Nov 9 to check whether the machines accurately counted the paper ballots. The check found no errors for any race in any precinct."
That count by hand was done by the Maricopa County Chair of the Republican Party, Democratic Party, and Libertarian Party, with the Republican Party Chair going first following a random lot drawing.
It's too bad Senate Republicans refused to take the matter of election security more seriously so we could've avoided this needless confusion. They blocked every Democratic measure passed in the House or proposed by Democratic Senators to address potential issues, including Amy Klobuchar's that would've required states go fully to paper ballots and bypass issues with voting machines. Be sure to thank your Senate Republicans for that.
As of now, there are no credible claims of widespread voter fraud that would change the results of this election. Any cases of fraud should result in arrests and trial by jury for conviction if guilty. Ballot counts continue, and will eventually be verified, and the Electoral College will make their official decision.
Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democratic candidate for president, has introduced legislation to require states to use paper ballots, which would make election systems less vulnerable to hacking. It would also provide additional grants for states to make improvements, among other measures.
Republicans blocked passage of Klobuchar’s bill on the Senate floor in June. GOP critics of the bill say they fear creating too many new federal rules for states when they are already working with the government to make improvements.
Some Republicans supported similar legislation in the last Congress, including Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford and Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt. Lankford has said he’s still working with Klobuchar’s office on details of the legislation, but Blunt says he doesn’t think it’s needed, for now.
The House passed similar legislation to help states, but Republicans blocked that on the Senate floor as well.

Federal prosecutors assigned to monitor election malfeasance tell Barr they see no evidence of substantial irregularities
Sixteen assistant U.S. attorneys specially assigned to monitor malfeasance in the 2020 election urged Attorney General William P. Barr on Friday to rescind his recent memorandum allowing investigators to publicly pursue allegations of “vote tabulation irregularities” in certain cases before results are certified, saying they had not seen evidence of any substantial anomalies.
In a letter — an image of which was shown to The Washington Post — the assistant U.S. attorneys told Barr that the release of his Monday memorandum — which changed long-standing Justice Department policy on the steps prosecutors can take before the results of an election are certified — “thrusts career prosecutors into partisan politics.”
The signers wrote that in the places where they served as district election officers, taking in reports of possible election-related crimes, there was no evidence of the kind of fraud that Barr’s memo had highlighted. Barr’s memo authorized prosecutors “to pursue substantial allegations of voting and vote tabulation irregularities prior to the certification of elections in your jurisdictions in certain cases,” particularly where the outcome of an election could be impacted.
