They seek, in essence, a do-over. The Texas challenge filed Tuesday calls for the court to toss out the votes in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and allow their Republican-majority state legislatures to appoint electors who, presumably, would throw the election to Trump.
"The merits are so outrageous in these claims that even the most avid Trump judges on the federal bench are laughing them out of court," says Rebecca Green, co-director of the election law program at William & Mary Law School. "I don’t see any reason why his judges on the Supreme Court wouldn’t be forced into that same position.”
I know your guy lost and that it's hard to face that truth, but at some point you have to say to yourself "My guy lost."
I can't believe that four years ago, conservatives called liberals that were upset over Hillary's loss "snowflakes," yet without evidence, conservatives in 2020 are having hissy fits over the election.
“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Wow. Impressed that the Trump administration is willing to keep on fighting. I don't think they have a case, but I am suspicious when you see all these Democrats claiming that there is no fraud at all. There is fraud in most elections, but is there enough to change the outcome.

Rebecca Green, a professor at William & Mary Law School in Virginia, said Texas did not have legal standing to challenge how other states handled the election.
“It is so outlandish. It is totally contrary to how our Constitution mandates that elections be run,” Green said. “The idea that a state could complain about another state’s processes is just absurd.”
