Do you think it was an abuse of power when the FBI started a political investigation of Trump over a Hillary Clinton fantasy? Was it an abuse of power impeaching a president over asking a foreign government to look into corruption by Hunter Biden? (now it is known that there was an active FBI investigation into that corruption at the time of the phone call). I’m thinking that if we start going after abuses of power, the entire government will topple because that is standard operating procedure.

Yes, "they" did it, too. For example, Clinton abused his power issuing a pardon for his brother, even though Roger had already served the term of his sentence a decade earlier.
Does this Trump - Kushner pardon not upset you, or at least concern you? Did Trump actually weigh the merits of the case, or was it a favor for his son-in-law? I think we can safely assume that the nepotism factor was in play here.
Kushner had also already served his time in prison - he was released 14 years ago. It stinks to high heaven of a returned favor. It always bothers me when the pardon is misused. He pled guilty to tax evasion - 16 counts - and intimidating a witness. The witness was his brother in law who he filmed with a prostitute and sent the video to his sister.
I just want to say that I believe that entirely too much power has been bestowed on the office of the presidency. It was never supposed to be a replacement for a king, but that's what we've had since the 1860's. We need to return to the Constitutional government as it was written, or start completely over. Federalism will be the end of our freedom, regardless of which side weilds the power.
