1.9 Trillion Senate Bill Passes

Enough for every American to get over $5,000. Instead, $1,400 goes to only people who earned under 80K last year. If you earned 100K in 2019, but nothing in 2020, you earn zero. But state and city government gets billions, also the firms that have good lobbyists.

I watched Biden's cringeworthy speech about this and of course it was riddled with lies. I also like how everybody says the American people overwhelmingly wanted THIS bill because of polls. Where can I find the wording of those polls? I think it would be interesting to know just exactly how the bill was portraited.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Exactly. Of course Americans wanted the $1400, but they didn't want the other $5400 per person in increased spending.

As you know this will go back to the House and be subject to amending. Whatever happened to the practice of a joint committee of the House and Senate getting together to compromise? In the end a bill resulting in more debt will sent to Biden.
What's not to love about a Federal Reserve that simply prints money and passes the debt onto future generations. Keynes, paraphrasing, said what difference does it make, in the long run we will all be dead.
Some contend that because he was a homosexual the future generations were of no consequence to him. Those of us with children and grandchildern think otherwise.

LET'S LOOK at history...the debit has been moving upward forever...the most recent F. U. was under
the R's in 2008...which almost ended TWAWKI....that decision was the genesis for where we R now.

It is like they are forcing you to take out a payday loan for $5700 and they give you back $1800 and keep the rest.
Government ruins everything. First Trump, Pelosi, and McConnell spend 2 trillion, and now President Biden, Schumer, and Pelosi want to add another 1.9 trillion. At least the second bill is all on the Democrats. The Democrats didn't let the Republicans add a single amendment to the debt increase. So not a single Republican voted for it.

And just wait, President Biden has more spending planned, like infrastructure.

This piece of shit legislation is ludicrous. It should be renamed for some of the more noteworthy recipients - the Roof/Tsarnaev act!

The Gang of Four in the House is very upset with the Senate changes but it is likely they will pass the modified bill. Better half a loaf, right? Speaker Pelosi is very happy, it gives billions to bail out her district in San Francisco so they won't have to make any budget cuts.
