Any thoughts on this topic Wayne? I'd love to talk about claims of voter suppression and election integrity in another thread if you'd like to start one, but this one has nothing to do with that.
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Over 70% of Americans, including minorities think requiring photo ID to vote is a common sense measure to make sure elections are fair and free of illegal votes. Why does the Democrat Party support unverified voters? Their voters are fine with this easy requirement.
Is the Democrat Party hiding something?

Why does the Republican Party now want to fix what isn't broken? They have yet to come up with factual evidence that the election was "stolen" or that massive amounts of people voted illegally. Even Georgia's Secretary of State has said repeatedly there was no election fraud.
Trump said that large numbers of people vote illegally in the United States, but a panel he appointed to investigate that ostensible problem could not substantiate the claim.
The U.S. has one of the lowest voter turnouts in the world of civilized countries. We should be making it easier for citizens to cast their votes. Not harder.
Old data Wayne? The 2020 election had some of the highest turnout in US history. Photo ID is a good, common sense requirement. Not onerous in any way. Do you know anyone without government ID?

Wayne, do you believe that requiring a citizen to present an ID is racist in any way?
As for making voting easier, why not just send us all a text on our phones and we can just check boxes and be done? You do realize that there’s a large number of people out there that know absolutely nothing about who is running the government and how it is being run, yes?
If we want people living in their own little news-free Matrix to be tempted to vote because it’s easy, that’s like asking your blind neighbor to help you trim trees with chainsaws... probably best to just do it yourself.

I believe imposing limits on voters in primarily non-white neighborhoods is racist. I believe making laws that limit voting places and times will make for longer voter lines and lower the turnout. But that's what Republicans are doing.

Yeah, it was almost 10 points higher than any election since 1900. That's why Republicans want to lower the turnout. Photo ID requirements are trying to fix a problem that just isn't there on a large scale. I don't personally know anyone, but I read the stories of people who don't have photo ID. They're mostly minority and elderly. Hmm

Why?
If you don't really know the answer to that, you may be part of the problem. It's "We, the people" not "We, a select few of the people."
I'm for automatic voter registration of age-eligible U.S. citizens. If voting is our right, why do we have to register, or get knocked off the voter rolls because we missed the last few elections?
