I consider the opportunity to vote both a right and a privilege that comes with being a United States citizen. Ostensibly, registering to vote is the method of ensuring that the individual is actually a U.S. citizen.
In your Central American home of Costa Rica, as you know, a photo ID , cedula, is required in order to vote. Is this a better system than ours?

Great point. Democrats act like requiring photo ID is a gross violation of rights, but most democracies in the world require government ID to vote. Even the largest democracy, poor India, is willing to spend billions to make sure every voter has a photo ID.

And just like that, the thread turned into a voting thread. Wish there was a burn button that I could use to torch this thread. Oh well.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
