Sure there will be some blips in the supply chain, but expect the world to get back to normal pretty soon. And since much of the traffic was Chinese goods going to Europe or vice versa, don't expect that much to affect us.
But it does show you how important it should be to the US to keep drilling for oil and gas on our soil. And the need to develop suppliers beyond China. There is a real chance that China might invade Taiwan while President Biden is in office. And our only response might be to stand down and abandon the island nation because we can't afford to lose our supply chain in with mainland China.
