This post is somewhat off topic, but the world knew where the USA stood with regard to foreign policy during the Reagan presidency.
Strange decision by Moscow. You think with Reagan sidelined, it would be a perfect time to pull off an invasion of Poland. Supposedly Reagan brought in "cowboy" style diplomacy and foreign relations. Invading Grenada and Panama. The Lebanon peacekeeping mission. No one knew what America was going to do. And I think the world never knew what President Trump was going to do either.

You triggered me. I remember turning right onto M-59 from Hickory Ridge Road when someone, I think Judy Woodroof(?) reported the Grenada invasion using the word quagmire.
Anyone old enough should know that that word has a LARGE emotional index.
That is the exact moment when I realized that reporters were not just reporting the news but were trying to shape public opinion..
Now they do not try to hide it but rather act as Pravda USA.

And we have a compromised president to help make that happen much faster.
We have been SO negligent over MANY years...CHINESE MENTALITY is a different animal, here in America
chineses practices would be cause for revolt...but those mindsets are what has given China the MAJOR
global position...R&D costs money and America has other priorities...so, falling behind in almost ever field
is a given when U do NOT forward think. JMO

Quagmire? LOL. Hardly. I do know a paratrooper who was in that invasion, he spent the whole morning pinned down by a Cuban armored car. So it was a mini-quagmire for him, they didn't achieve their first day goals.
