Did Biden Really Bring Back Civility?

If Biden held a news conference and claimed that Trump starved children,
but that was found to be untrue, would that be considered a slanderous lie?

I don’t remember the press even mentioning these starving children. I’m pretty sure Joe would have mentioned that at some point during his campaign.

Isn’t that a terrible thing for a president to say about his predecessor, especially when it isn’t true?

The biggest beef with Trump was his mannerisms and critical talk about other people he didn’t like. Isn’t Joe doing that very thing? I may be wrong but I can’t think of anything Trump said about Obama that was that horrible and a straight up lie.

If you can prove me wrong I will gladly concede because I will have learned something from your source(s), and that’s one of the reasons why I’m here.

Yes, but when Trump said things much less defamatory, the press and people on this board were outraged. Joe Biden is supposedly the one that was going to bring civility back. One sided outrage is the main reason why there is no journalism left in this country and the reason why I'm so frustrated most of the time on this board. Have you forgotten the last 4 years?

Biden and Trump are like nite and day....gentle rain OR thunderbolts and lighting. Their nature can not
be compared....MY dislike of Trump stems from his "l'll f....the system, people,or anything that I can use
to further MY wants, desires, aspirations. U can further those WITHOUT dishonesty, lies,or "using people and then discarding them. His UNHEALTHY egocentric way of walking thru life is the major reason he lost
the election....people were EXHAUSTED by his drama, his bold, brass bull shit...using Twitter to convey his feelings (at the moment) every waking moment was immature, over the top and wearing people down, instead
of providing positiveness, he provided naked negligence....and lack of a skill set to follow thru...(for most of his life)....a life based on lies, let me see what I can get away with, immaturity AND LOW SELF ESTEEM.
(always stating I am the greatest, best NO ONE knows better than me.

I don't think so. During the campaign, candidate Biden kept revealing he has quite a temper. And many Democrats like a guy who is angry on their side.

AH, I think it is human to get upset/raise your voice when the occasion requires that....NOT every speech, every sentence, every thought process that spills out of your mouth...hyperbole.

Have you ever seen Trump go after voters directly in their faces like Biden has done several times? Your sources probably haven't shown you those videos but I've seen them.

Candidate Trump did go after a man who had speaking and some other issues, mocking him by mimicking his disabilities.
