Once the president invites people to come here without any kind of application, the problem is not with the other countries, the problem is with our president who willfully and purposefully created the problem. If you invite people from the streets to your home, offer to pay for their health care, offer to pay for their education, and promise you'll never make them leave, don't be surprised when they line up and break down your door.

We have a rancher that still does 2 cuttings of hay a season,with the help of his hired hand from Mexico,Lopi.
They are not only employer and employee,they have a long term friendship( 90 y.o. driving to Ignacio to
gamble with his friend).

We have hired him to do some HARD errands for us,(we also have hired your everday handyman for the same). GUESS WHO works their ass off? NOT the everyday handy man...SAME job, totally different work
ethic. Lopi has been working since he was 5 YEARS OLD...HARD WORKER,GETS IT DONE.

THIS country was built on the backs of slaves and immigrants...FIX THE DAMN SYSTEM FOR PATH TO

You’re talking about one guy who either immigrated legally or was amnesty’d under Reagan (based on the long term relationship you described). That quip seriously has zero to do with the current crisis. These people aren’t fleeing for survival or any such garbage. They are coming for jobs and free stuff. Maybe Wayne can tell us what the unaccompanied minors from Costa Rica are fleeing? Belize? No?

Nobody from Costa Rica is heading north to try to get into the U.S. The line of immigrants heading north starts in Honduras.

Currently around one million legal immigrants are accepted every year into the US. One million added to a population of 330 million.
How many legal immigrants should the US take in every year? Five million? Ten million?
Should the illegal border crossers get preference over those who jumped through all the hoops to become US citizens?

I think we can accept more legal immigrants and I would support laws that make it easier to become US citizens. Three million sounds reasonable. I would also make up a quota system from all over the world, so that everyone has an equal chance, just not those who find it easier to cross our land border like the people from Honduras, Guatemala, and Mexico.
