SHOW ME YOUR PERSONAL COMMITTMENT

Marco Rubio to MLB Commissioner Robert Manfred: “I am under no illusion you intend to resign as a member from Augusta National Golf Club. To do so would require a personal sacrifice, as opposed to the woke corporate virtue signaling of moving the All Star Game from Atlanta.” pic.twitter.com/4ep07Kf7vu

I can't improve on Rubio's words.

Slate and others are calling out the Democrats for overreacting to the new laws in Georgia. Not nearly as restrictive as they are saying. Less restrictive than New York state. Manfred should give the game back to Atlanta and the Braves.

It get better. The CEO of the NFL is a member of Augusta. Goodell and a few other members were allowed to watch the Masters on the course to the exclusion of the public.

Isn't it time that we realize that the "Swamp", (controlling elite), has no interest in the "little people", proletariat, voters, etc, take your pick for a name?

Yeah. As proof, just look at how similar Obama and Trump were in their governing.

I agree with you, Wayne, in that, as I have stated before Congress has abrogated its responsibility as defined by the Constitution and the executive branch has filled that void.
In recent years, Obama, Trump and now Biden/Harris have ruled by executive order Certainly there were different points of view, ideologies, etc
Once upon a time the chairmen of Senate and House committees were well known to the public in that they had a great deal of power and responsibility.
Hell, I will give ten points to the anyone who can name the chairman of the House Rules Committee. This was once the most significant committee in the House (my opinion).

Jim McGovern, (D-MA) is the chairman. Full disclosure, I had to go to the internet to find his name.

There was a piece in the Denver Post today asking if President Biden is a much more effective president than Barack Obama. I would have to say yes. By overusing executive orders, he has replaced much of what President Trump did. And he used the pandemic to pass a massive spending bill, and he wants to pass another infrastructure spending bill in a few months. Never let a crisis go to waste, right?

Several of the CEO's on the conference call to inveigle against the Georgia Voting Law, called in from Augusta, GA where they were attending the Masters Golf Tournament.

Hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Remember a long long time ago when Democrats were complaining about big business having too much power and influence? I guess now that these mega corps are helping the leftist narratives and propaganda campaigns, we should all rejoice in their power and influence.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
