Resident Biden says he's not waiting around for congress to act. He will single-handedly infringe on our second amendment rights with his trusty pen!

States are starting to pass sanctuary laws that will prevent federal gun mandates from being enforced.

We are seeing the beginning of the end of federalism I think. It will be interesting to see if people actually start to remember that we have a Constitution that was written to protect us from an overbearing federal government. The 10th amendment will no longer be ignored.

Funny thing is that the lefties started the trend with their sanctuary laws for illegal aliens.

It's truly amazing that we have a guy making these decisions without knowing anything about the current gun laws. When he referred to the ATF as the AFT,. how could that even come out of the mouth of someone who has probably said those 3 letters thousands of times over the last 50 years.

So where's all the fact checkers jumping all over Biden's string of obvious lies when it comes to current gun laws?

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Biden laid out several ways his administration will tackle gun violence. He ordered action on ghost guns, firearms without serial numbers that are sold in kits. He directed the Justice Department to draft a new rule regulating a device that can be placed on a pistol to turn it into a short-barreled rifle.

He also instructed the Justice Department to create a template that states can use to enact “red flag” laws, which allow judges to seize firearms from people who are deemed a threat to themselves or others. And he ordered a repeat of a landmark 2000 gun-trafficking study that was instrumental in helping police determine the source of guns used in crimes.

What laws do we need to obey? In Colorado, it is still against federal law to buy and use marijuana, but millions of people across the nation are violating this law every day.
If Joe Biden writes an executive order because he knows what he wants wouldn't get through the Senate, should we feel compelled to obey it?

Maybe it would be better for Joe to work with the legislative branch and legalize marijuana across the nation. Then people might better respect laws.

Would any amount of guns in your possession or on your person make you feel more safe?

I think you misunderstood. I feel less safe because there is a senile old man sitting in the White House thinking he can override the Constitution with his trusty crayon. The trouble is that so many are just going along with it. He is not a king! The DoJ does not write legislation! WTF are we even arguing about? Do you actually support the ripping up of the Constitution? Do you agree with Resident Biden that our rights are not absolute? If so, it is likely we will be on different sides in the upcoming conflict.

I think there's a point where it changes from feeling safe to feeling like a big tough man.

No, I don't support ripping up The Constitution, but I believe it can be amended, as times change. The 2nd Amendment is, after all, an amendment to the Constitution.

It is an amendment that was added in order to get states to sign into the whole United States thing. If you amend that, all bets are off. 1861 will look like childs play.
