The NRA has been having issues and their chaos might have given the election to President Biden. Other pro-2nd Amendment groups are stepping up but the NRA's five million members have a lot of clout.
Interesting thing, most of the money for the anti-gun politicians comes from rich billionaires like Michael Bloomberg. It is a real Astroturf campaign. There might be individuals who are passionate about disarming Americans but they aren't writing checks.

Which of President Biden's executive orders would have stopped Sandy Hook?

Adam Lanza’s mother (who was murdered by him the same day as Sandy Hook occurred) was responsible for her son, a known mentally unstable teen, having a plethora of weapons which were all legally obtained by the mother. Nothing King Joe signed would have any effect on this other than possibly cause a fee for the pistol conversion. Nothing that is being proposed by that nut case down in Houston will have any effect on any criminal. Can someone please look at the actual statistics on gun violence and tell me why an AR-15 type gun is now being picked on? Passing stupid restrictive gun legislation in response to a mass shooting is akin to passing the Patriot Act in response to 9/11. It is doing nothing but eroding the rights of law abiding citizens. Too bad the ruling class doesn’t have to also comply with the same set of laws.

Yep, more jobs "created" by government, paid for by taxpayers, and no monitoring or accountability for results, just like what happens with the teachers who are refusing to teach.

The number shown in this chart is all rifles, not just AR15 variants since it appears nobody is actually tracking that. Please show me again why these guns need to be so regulated and demonized.
