AH, probably has to do with INSURANCE and poss. lawsuits....depending upon the capacity of the ship.
How many people were on the island....20,000. I do not know what the standard cruise ship capacity is.
This story states that you can only be evacuated if you agree to get the vaccine. Forced vaccines are not an acceptable thing! These vaccines here in the states state that there is no fda approved vaccine for Covid... there have been zero long term studies for obvious reasons. The survival rate of this virus is higher than most common colds. That should be enough to make this vaccine voluntary and not force you into a position of having to choose between life and death.
TOTALLY agree.mandated is NOT cool....my neighbor works at Home Depot (he's a R).....says he
sees it coming from the company, condition of employment(not yet, but coming)...I told him him, since it has
NOT gone thru complete FDA approval (emer use status) it can NOT be mandated legally....he said YA
WATCH.
I am NOT happy about injecting a short term research project into my arm...I would not have done it,but for
my spouse....I agree, the LONG TERM RESEARCH is not there. (Case in point, when the gov stated the air quality was acceptable in N.Y. city after 9/11, I was STUNNED.....pulverized cement, plastic, wood, chem.
additives to everything that was blown apart,bodies,metal.....WHO,with any brains, would accept that answer.
YEARS LATER....how many severe illnesses, deaths, misery were calculated....OH WHAT A SURPRISE.
Just stand up for your rights? NPR had a story on yesterday that more than twenty universities are requiring vaccinations for the Fall semester. But then they ended the report by saying religious and medical exemptions would be permitted.
40% of Marines are choosing not to get the shot. Funny, because the USMC is one of the most vaccinated groups in the world, something like forty shots are given to them throughout their career.
Carrot instead of stick? Maybe the Marine Corp just needs to give them the option, take the shot, and you get a 72 hour pass and a case of Busch beer.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I’m of the opinion that nobody who is otherwise healthy and isn’t over 65 should be getting this vaccine until the long term studies are done. It makes no sense to take such a risk in exchange for very low risk. Of course if someone wants it, that’s one thing but making it mandatory is wrong until the studies have been completed. I’m not a fan of compulsory anything but especially an injection.
