White People Given Special Instructions When Entering George Floyd Square in Minneapolis[/b
The sign urges visitors to enter the memorial area "with reverence, humility, and openness." Lower down, it has a bolded heading that reads, "For White people in particular."
"Decenter yourself and come to listen, learn, mourn, and witness. Remember you are here to support, not to be supported," one bullet point says.
"Seek to contribute to the energy of the space, rather than drain it," reads another bullet point. "Bring your own processing to other white folks so that you will not harm BIPOC [Black and Indigenous people of color]."
The instructions for white people also encourages visitors to "be mindful" of whether their "volume, pace, and movements are supporting or undermining" efforts to "decenter" themselves and urges them to not take pictures of people without their consent.
"If you witness white folks doing problematic things, speak up with compassion to take the burden [off of] Black folks and our siblings of color whenever appropriate. Seek to engage rather than escalate, so that it can be a learning movement rather than a disruption," the final bullet point reads.
I wish I could say this is shocking, but I think this is only going to get worse under this very bad leadership that is stoking division every day. Hope you're all ready for the new rules that will surely come to a city near you one day.
Once again, I'm trying to understand what you're trying to say because YOU are not saying anything, you just want me to read something that is not directly related to my post.
Do you have any opinions of your own concerning my post?
The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

PERHAPS IT IS BECAUSE MY PERSPECTIVE IS METAPHYSICAL.....I find it extremely frustrating that the
common idea of reverence is NOT UNDERSTOOD. There are spaces in this world that bring a sense of
peace, reflection, joy, there are also mundane moments that do the same thing.
YELLOWSTONE is a space that dictates reverence...THAT does not happen, for the most part. (ask
any park ranger he will tell u the park is being destroyed by thoughtlessness.) DO THE RESEARCH,if u
do not believe me. It is the same with SEDONA...and I have personal experience with that.
MUNDANE MOMENTS of reverence....I live in town, most of the town does not see deer passing thru
(unless U live on a golf course)...fawn season brings a moment of the miracle,as mom walks thru our
yard with her twins and settles in the shade of a tree. The joy of watching a bird bathing in the cool water
of the sprinklers....then flying off into a tree to prune and dry off...REFLECTION of the reverence of life.
A LIFE WAS SNUFFED OUT BY A CORRUPT COP....SELAH....REFLECT ON THAT....because many
lives have ended IN the same manner.
"What's missing from the Newsweek story is WHO PUT THE SIGN UP?"
Mr Impelli, the author of the article, left out more than answering that question. After reading the article I realized that he did not go to the scene, rather reported on what was posted on social media. He does reference, oddly enough, Matt Finn of Fox News, who was there and posted one of the pictures. Mr Finn reported on seeing more than one of the posters in different parts of the "cop-free zone"(my terminology).
Questions other than the above:
Why weren't the posters removed? Possible and likely answer, they were approved of by whomever is in charge of the area?
Why didn't he go to Minneapolis and actually interview people in the area regarding this issue? I have no suggestions other than budgetary (to be kind to Newsweek)
Is this a typical article in the magazine (I do not subscribe), parroting social media and in this instance Fox News rather than actual reporting?
