The Pelosi/Newsom family has controlled California politics for a long time, maybe it is time for the Kardashians to take over. They have deep pockets, Kim is doing wonderful work on getting the mistakenly convicted out of jail.
I would imagine while Jenner is casting herself as a Republican, she also admits that she is a fiscal conservative and a social liberal. So if she wins, she might be a good moderate who will try to work with Democrats to get the state back on an even keel. Or it could be she will just be ignored because the Democrats have the votes to overturn any threatened veto's.

MY POV......she will wilt in the war of words....she has alienated the trans community, the Kardashians,
they have declined to support her, the R's will NOT get past her "transition" AND her relevance has faded.

If the recall election goes like the Arnold/Grey one did decades ago, there will be forty candidates to choose from. I think Gary Coleman and a porn star were some of the candidates last time, so it won't be about getting a majority, it will be about getting a solid base. 20% could win the race.
So it might be best for Democrats to find a celebrity to run, a George Clooney or a Holly Hunter.
